Temporary locations often face specific challenges when it comes to security and access control: limited space, and being installed and relocated several times. Regular users, visitors/suppliers and emergency services all need access. The Xentry Mobile is the answer: quick to install, equipped with all relevant access control and surveillance systems and … plug & play. That means no unauthorized persons on your site and less work for your staff.

Storage & transport
Storage: when folded, the panels do not extend beyond the concrete base.
Relocation: with a crane (single lifting point) and a forklift.
Installation
Placement: by one person, using handy features on the base and the closing post.
Configuration at the yard, using the free space in the installation cabinet. An option post at the front and an option plate at the rear ensure a plug & play installation on site.
Use
Proper use is ensured by retro-reflective film on the columns and bright LED strips (red/green).
Safety is ensured by anti-climb mesh in the panels and a spike strip on top. When open, the panels are protected by their own base.
24/7 support is provided via Xense, a built-in IoT system, and our own service department.
Control and security
Opening: with your own access control system or the supplied wired control panel, Tell app, wireless remote control, license plate camera or free-exit laser.
Closing: automatically via lasers, on a timer or via the access control system.
Vehicle & personal safety: lasers (blue areas) protect the red area, together with safety edges.

Featured project
Prinsenhof in Delft
The Prinsenhof in Delft is a household name: the place where William of Orange was assassinated and which now houses a renowned museum. The site lies in the heart of Delft’s city center and is currently undergoing a thorough renovation and modernization. The route past it is an important thoroughfare for pedestrians and cyclists, while there is heavy traffic of regular staff and visitors/suppliers to the construction site. In addition, the entrance is located away from the site cabins. Keeping the entrance permanently closed to keep out unauthorized persons is therefore a must.
The contractor therefore automated access control with license plate recognition for regular staff and suppliers. For visitors, the Speedgate can be opened remotely with a mobile hand-held transmitter. A laser ensures that all vehicles can exit freely.

The Speedgates at this location need to be replaced. To bridge the delivery time, the entrance has been temporarily closed off with a Xentry Mobile, so that it remains securely closed at night. The existing controls of the Speedgates have been connected to the Xentry Mobile, so users can drive in and out in the familiar way.
Klantcase
Construction site in Utrecht
Heijmans uses the Xentry on Site as a standard solution for inner-city projects. At this construction site, however, permission was not granted to embed the base of the Xentry on Site in the asphalt. A double Xentry Mobile was therefore installed (access width 8.2 m), so that all trucks can leave the site unhindered and make the turn straight away.
