In addition, it has a limited vehicle-resistant capacity. The system was developed when the army was looking for solutions to problems which could be brought about by a future Dutch military mission. In addition to the physical security, Checkpoint must be equipped with sensors to determine the properties of passing vehicles and subsequently automate the process of access control.
